The Rise of Morgan Freeman


Morgan Freeman is a brilliant actor who's calm demeanour and authoritative voice is a major part in this actors presents in films. Morgan Freeman is a very well known African American who has grown into one of the most respected black actors in modern cinema. Born in Memphis, Tennessee Morgan Freeman got his first big break on the TV staring as sevral characters including Easy Reader, Mel Mounds, and Count Dracula on the Children's Television Workshop.
For most of the 70's Morgan Freeman appeared in a number of roles in diffrent fims such as,' The Electric Company (1971), Blade (1973), he played Casca in Julius Caesar (1979/II), he then played Coriolanus in Coriolanus(1979). In 1981 he played Malcom X for the last 24hours of his life in The death of a Prophet.
For most of the 80's Morgan Freeman continued to stand out in film which varied in there quality, which earned him an Oscar nomination for his portray of a merciless hoodlum in _Street Smart (1987), after which he earned himself a second Oscar nomination for Driving Miss Daisy.
